Who Should Attend These Workshops?

These events are ideal for pastors, church leaders, safety/security team members, ushers, greeters, children's ministry workers, and anyone involved in creating a safe worship environment.

Will Refreshments Be Provided?

Yes! Most events will provide Coffee and Refreshments, some events also include breakfast or lunch. Please see your specific event FAQ's for questions.

What Should I Bring?

We recommend bringing a notebook, pen, and your charged mobile device. Pictures/Videos are encouraged! Some sessions will include live action and digital materials.

Can I Register At The Door?

Our seats fill up fast so walk-in registrations are limited and not guaranteed or recommended. We strongly encourage online registration to secure your spot and help us plan accordingly!

Will Childcare Be Provided?

No, childcare is not available for most events. Please make arrangements accordingly.

Will The Sessions Be Recorded or Available After?

Mike Holland

Oklahoma FBSN State Leader | Founding Member, Oklahoma Safety Coalition | Church Safety Director

Mike Holland brings decades of real-world experience in law enforcement and tactical operations to church safety and security. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran (1980–1986), Mike served as a Sergeant with expertise in communications and marksmanship. He went on to serve with the Federal Bureau of Prisons as a Senior Corrections Officer and S.O.R.T. (Special Operations Response Team) member—specializing in sniper operations, cell extractions, and high-risk entries.

From 1989 to 1994, Mike served as a U.S. Deputy Marshal, conducting high-threat prisoner transports (including international extraditions) and participating in national special operations missions. He is also a certified firearms instructor through the Department of Justice's FLETC.

Since 2017, Mike has dedicated his expertise to equipping churches to safely share Jesus by leading and training church safety teams. His instruction covers a broad range of critical skills, including de-escalation, active threat response, situational awareness, firearms proficiency, CQB, and trauma response techniques like CPR, AED, and Stop the Bleed.

Mike is the current Oklahoma State Leader for the Faith Based Security Network (FBSN) and a founding member of the Oklahoma Safety Coalition.

Keith Stewart

SE Regional Manager at Oklahoma School Security Institute

Working within the DPS Active Threat Response Preparedness Division, Keith graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a masters degree in public administration, retired in 2016 from the Duncan Police department after 21 years of service. His roles within the department, particularly as crimes against children investigator and, most importantly, as school resource officer, highlight his strong connection to the education community. Keith is an avid researched on active shooter events and has spoken on the topic numerous times across the State of Oklahoma. His knowledge and experience working with children and in schools led to his current role as the Southeast Regional Manager for the Oklahoma School Security Institute. Keith also serves as an advisory committee member for Hand with Care Oklahoma.
